"My first impression of Sunderland was that the people were friendly and that it was nice and quiet. Good for study, but close enough to Newcastle for a night out. The ONCAMPUS induction week offered lots of activities to help us settle in and see the facilities of the University including CitySpace and the gym for example. Living in Sunderland itself is not too costly and good value for money, and I tend to spend my spare time with friends going out."
